I was caught in the storm in Brandon on Thursday and was able to make it to Portage on Friday. After spending a horrible night at the Canad Inns, I set out this morning for Winnipeg. I made a quick stop here because my 2.5 year old needed a change, and the gentleman was incredibly nice and let us use the washroom. My son is really shy but he gave him some chocolates for the road and he was telling me about the weather in Oakville. It honestly turned my mood right around just being met with such kindness. Thank you!
